Aircall Workspace updates automatically for most users. Staying on the latest version ensures you have the most recent performance improvements, bug fixes, and features.

How updates work

Update behavior depends on how Aircall Workspace was installed on your device.

  • Standard installer (EXE for Windows, DMG for macOS): Updates are applied automatically in the background. When a new version is available, you will see an Update now banner inside the app. Click it to apply the update immediately, or it will be applied the next time you restart the app.
  • MSI or PKG installer (IT-managed deployments): Updates are not applied automatically. Your IT administrator is responsible for deploying new versions using your organisation's MDM tools. Contact your IT team if you believe your version is out of date.
Note: All users, regardless of installer type, receive real-time web updates automatically. These include functional enhancements and UI changes and are applied when the app is reloaded.

Checking your current version

To confirm which version of Aircall Workspace you are running, see How to check your Aircall Workspace version.

If your update is not applying

If you are on a standard installer and the app is not updating:

  • Restart Aircall Workspace and check for the update banner.
  • Make sure Aircall Workspace is not blocked by a firewall, security program, or antivirus. If it is, add it to your approved applications list.
  • If issues persist, download and reinstall the latest version directly from aircall.io/download.

For IT-managed deployments, see Downloading Aircall Workspace with an MSI file for Windows or PKG file for macOS.
