With the monday.com V2 integration, you can automatically log calls and messages in monday.com boards, view key monday.com contact information directly in Aircall, and configure a wide range of contact management and automation features. Installation is quick and simple.
Note: You must be on at least the Standard monday.com plan to use this integration.
Tip: If you’re unfamiliar with monday.com, visit the monday.com Knowledge Base before continuing. This guide is intended for users who are already comfortable using monday.com.
Important: Requirements: You must have admin rights in both Aircall and monday.com, as well as permissions in your monday.com account as well as main/defult workspace to "Create boards". For more information, please refer to the article "Prerequisites for installing the monday.com V2 integration".
Installing the monday.com integration
Before getting started with installation of the integration on Aircall Dashboard, please ensure you install the new version of the Aircall App (i.e. Aircall: Call & SMS in your work OS) from the monday marketplace. If the app is not installed you might see the error "App is not installed" during installation process.
Note: Please ensure you select "All Workspaces" as the option while installing the Aircall App on monday.com account.
Post installation of the Aircall App on your monday account, follow these steps in the Aircall Dashboard:
Log in to the Aircall Admin Dashboard --> select Integrations & API
In the All Integrations section, search for monday.com V2 and click on it
Click Install integration
On the authorization page, click Authorize
You will then be prompted to:
Click Add numbers
Select the Aircall numbers to associate with this integration
Click Add numbers in the bottom-right corner to proceed
Note: At least one number must be linked for call and message activity to log in monday.com. You can update number assignments anytime in the Aircall Dashboard.
You will be redirected to monday.com to complete authorization. If not logged in, you will be asked to do so first.
Post Authorisation of monday.com, you will see a screen to select monday.com "Workspace" where the integration should be installed
Select one of the workspace from the available list. This list is fetched based on access the user/admin installing the integration has in selected monday.com account.
Note: If you havent update the Aircall App in your monday.com account or dont have access to any workspace than a message will be displayed to inform you the same. You can select the “Default” option from the drop down to continue. We will go ahead and try to install the integration in main/default workspace.

Based on the workspace selected, the integration will be installed as well as Aircall Calls and Messages boards will be created on the selected workspace. If user doesnt have the permissions to create boards in the selected workspace or monday.com account then they will see the permission error screen.
Note: This integration can be installed using any monday.com product: CRM, Service, Work Management, or Dev.
After completing the steps, click Finish to proceed to the integration settings page.
If you dont have the Admin rights or required permissions in the monday.com account used or workspace selected for integration installation then you will see a screen below to inform you about installation not being completed. Please refer article Prerequisites for installing the monday.com V2 integration for more details.
Boards added during installation
Two new boards will automatically be created in your monday.com account:
Aircall Calls: Logs all call-related activity
Aircall Messages: Logs SMS and WhatsApp messages
These boards include the integration ID in their names (e.g. Aircall Calls (xxxx)) to distinguish between multiple installations. The integration ID also appears in the integration URL and in the Settings section of the Aircall Dashboard.
Note: These boards are created in your monday.com Main Workspace, but you can move them to other Workspaces if needed.
Each integration installation creates its own set of boards.
Configuring your integration settings
Integration settings overview
In the General section, you can:
Toggle the integration between Active/Inactive
Add a custom name to identify your integration
Add or remove associated Aircall numbers
Delete the integration if no longer needed

Post Integration installation, its important to configure the Integration settings to ensure smooth functioning of the integration. Click on "Settings" tab to view and configure the integration settings.
Call and message logging
Here you’ll see the Aircall Calls and Aircall Messages board IDs (clickable links to the monday boards)
Contact/Lead integration settings
These settings allow you to link a monday.com board that manages contact or lead data.
Steps:
Select your Contact/Lead board
Select the Phone Number and Name columns
You can select up to 3 Phone Number Columns from monday.com board. The 1st column selected will be considered as Primary column where as other two columns will be considered as secondary.
These Phone number columns will considered while creating and syncing contacts.
Important: Only Public and Shared boards from your monday.com account will appear in the list of available boards. Private boards are not listed.
This setup powers features such as:
Insight cards
Contact creation
Contact sync
Logging timeline events
Note: Make sure the selected columns are correct. Incorrect selections may prevent related features from working as expected.
You can enable each feature by selecting Yes in the corresponding setting.
Customize Insight Cards
Once the Contact/Lead board and required columns are selected, the basic Insight Card is automatically enabled. This card shows:
Contact name
A link to the relevant monday board
To display additional fields, enable Custom Insight Card, which lets you select two extra columns from the Contact/Lead board.
Note: Insight Cards require the selection of a Contact/Lead board and both Phone Number and Name columns.
Contact creation and sync
Enable these options to manage contacts between Aircall and monday.com:
Contact Creation: When a call is received/made or a message is received/sent from/to a number not already in the board, a new row is created with the default name Aircall New Contact and phone number.
Contact Sync: When a call is received/made or a message is received/sent from/to a number, contact names and phone numbers in your selected board are synced to the Aircall application. Updates in monday.com will reflect in Aircall following next call or message with that external number.
Note: If you have selected, multiple Phone Number columns in Contact/lead integration settings, then all the columns will be considered while creating and syncing contacts.

Timeline event logging
Enable Log Calls and Messages as Timeline Events to view communication history in the Email & Activities view of your contact board.
Important: This feature is only available when using the monday.com CRM product or a board created using the Contacts template.
Click Save changes to apply your selected configuration.
Automation rules
You can set up automation rules on specific boards to update values based on Aircall tags used during calls.
Steps:
Select the board and Phone Number columns (up to 3 Phone Number columns) used to identify contacts
Choose the target column to update (must be Status or Dropdown type)

Click + Add tag automation rule and define:
The Aircall tag that triggers the rule
The column to update
The new value to apply
You can add multiple rules per board. If supported, you can also set values to empty.
Note: Avoid conflicting automation rules that modify the same column with different outcomes.
AI Insights Logging
Manage Aircall AI Insights Logging in monday.com via AI Insight Logging settings. With the Aircall-monday.com integration and Aircall AI, users can automatically log AI Assist Insights i.e. Call Summary, Key Topics , Action Items and Sentiment as well as Assist Pro Insights i.e. Playbook and Custom Summary
AI Insights logging as well as logging of specific AI Insights in monday.com can be enabled or disabled. User can choose to log AI Insights in :
- Updates section
- Timeline Events
To log, AI Insights in Timeline events the settings to Log calls as timeline events in Contact/lead integration settings should be enabled.
Note: If AI Assist or AI Assist Pro Package is not enabled for a company the settings related to AI Insights logging will be disabled.
Setting for Aircall Logs in monday
Control logging behavior from this section:
Enable Call Logging: Default is Yes
Enable Message Logging (SMS & WhatsApp): Default is No
SMS Automation Settings
You can create SMS Automation rules in to send SMS messages based on specific triggers/events in monday.com. For more details, refer to SMS Automation in monday.com V2 integration.
Important:
• If both Call Logging and Timeline Event Logging are disabled, no communication data will be logged in monday.com.
• If contact boards are not set up properly, the default contact name "Aircall New Contact" will be used in logs.
• Message logging includes both SMS and WhatsApp.
• Call Transcription logs are added to both the Aircall Calls board and Timeline Events if enabled.
Tips for best use
Select the correct Contact/Lead board and columns to ensure features like Insight Cards, Contact Sync, and Timeline Events function smoothly.
Take advantage of multiple installations to configure the integration differently for various teams or workflows.
Use automation rules to automatically update CRM fields based on tags added during Aircall calls.
Monitor the Integration ID and board IDs for each installation to keep configurations organized.

Can I install the integration multiple times for different workflows?
Yes. You can install the monday.com integration multiple times with different configurations under the same monday.com account.
Where are calls and messages logged after installation?
They are logged in the Aircall Calls and Aircall Messages boards that are created during setup.
What happens if I don’t select a contact board?
Default contact names such as Aircall New Contact will be used, and Insight Cards, Sync, and Timeline logging may not function correctly.
Can I move the Aircall Calls and Messages boards to another Workspace?
Yes. You can move them without affecting the integration’s logging functionality.
Can I select more than one phone number column for contact matching?
Yes. You can select up to three phone number columns in Contact/Lead settings, Automation Rules, and SMS Automation. The integration will search across all selected columns to identify a matching contact.
